A fire broke out at Hasina market in the capital's Kawran Bazar.
The fire originated around 9:09 pm on Saturday, said Fire Service control room.
No casualties were reported immediately.
The Fire Service control room said that 4 units of firefighters are trying to douse the flame.
The fire originated from the tin–shed market, but what caused it has not been ascertained yet, said Mahfuz Riven, duty officer at the Fire Service control room headquarter.
