A fire broke out at the Cumilla Potti area in Maniknagar, Dhaka on Sunday afternoon.
Lima Khanam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, confirmed the matter to the media, saying the fire originated at around 3:20pm today at a tin-shed house in Cumilla Potti.
Eight firefighting units rushed to the spot on information and are currently trying to bring the fire under control, she added.
“Neither the cause of the fire nor the extent of damage could be known immediately,” she said further.
