A fire broke out at an outlet of Meena Bazar, a superstore chain in Bangladesh, in the capital’s Lalmatia on Monday afternoon.
The fire started around 1:05pm and four firefighting units rushed to the spot, said Lima Khanam, duty officer at the control room of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
The firefighters brought the blaze under control around 1:55pm, she added.
No incident of casualty was reported.
The reason of the fire could not be known immediately.
