A fire broke out at a building in Chairmanbari in Dhaka's Banani area on Saturday morning, officials said.
No casualties were reported as of yet.
MD Raihanul, station officer (media) of Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters, said the blaze started at a warehouse on the second floor of the six-storey building around 9.10am and spread soon.
As many as 11 fire tenders have been pressed into service and "we are trying to control the blaze", he said.
Ananda TV's office is also housed in the same building.
However, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, officials said.
