A fire that broke out at SK Tower in Chawkbazar area, was brought under control after hours of frantic efforts on Tuesday evening.
The fire ravaged a plastic warehouse on the second floor of SK Tower, said Lima Khanam, in-charge of Fire Service and Civil Defence control room.
Nine units of fire-fighters rushed to the spot after the fire occurred at 4:30pm, she said.
The fire-fighters brought the fire under control after hours of frantic efforts at 6:45pm, she said, adding that cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
However, no casualty was reported over the matter, she added.
