A fire broke out at the building of National Curriculum and Textbook Board at Motijheel in Dhaka on Wednesday.
The fire started around 12:00pm on the fifth floor of the 12-storey building, confirmed Khaleda Begum, duty officer at the control room of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
Three firefighting units were working to douse the blaze, she said.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
