A fire broke out at a button factory in Mirpur-1 of the capital on Sunday.
Rakibul Hasan, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters, said the fire broke out on the 3rd floor of the five-storey building behind Boishakhi Market at 2:52 pm and soon spread.
On information, three firefighting units rushed to the spot and put the fire under control around 5:08.
However, the cause of the fire could not be known, and no causality has been reported yet.
