A fire that broke out at a readymade garment factory in Chandona Chowrasta area of Gazipur on Wednesday morning was doused.
The fire broke out on the fourth floor of Apparels Plus Ltd garments factory, Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters’ control room confirmed.
Upon receiving information at around 7:40am, firefighters rushed to the spot.
Four firefighting units from Gazipur and Tongi battled the blaze and brought it under control at 10:40am. The fire was completely doused at around 11:40am. No casualty was reported in the incident. The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
