A fire broke out at Narayanganj Ruposhi United leather factory on Wednesday.
Abdullah Al Arefin, deputy assistant director of the Fire Service and Civil Defence in Narayanganj confirmed the matter to The Business Post.
On information, 13 units of fire service rushed to the spot and managed to douse the fire.
There has been no reports of deaths or serious injuries in the incident, Arefin said.
Earlier July 8, at least 51 workers died in a fire at Hashem Foods factory in Narayanganj.
