A fire that broke out at a shoe warehouse in Puran Dhaka's Alu Bazar on Thursday afternoon has been brought under control.
The fire erupted at the warehouse on the top floor of a five-storey building at 5pm, according to the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
On information, the first firefighter unit rushed to the spot. A total of nine firefighter units worked to tame the blaze.
The fire was brought under control at around 5:35pm.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately, and no causality has been reported yet.
