A fire that broke out in a container laden with electrical goods at the Inland Container Depot in Dhaka’s Kamalapur railway station on Saturday afternoon, has been brought under control.
Firefighters received the information at 3:40pm, Fire Service and Civil Defence said in a media announcement.
Four firefighting units rushed to the spot and tamed the blaze around 6:30pm, it added.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
