Fire Service and Civil Defence has launched a new hotline number with a view to providing all kinds of fire-related information and rendering emergency services.
The new number — 16163 — for its central control room in Dhaka will remain active alongside its existing 11-digit phone number — 0222 33 55555, a press release said.
People can dial the hotline number from any telecom operator to get information or avail services, it added.
