This year's minimum Fitra has been set at Tk 70 per individual, with a maximum at Tk 2,310.
The decision was made at a virtual meeting of the National Fitra Fixing Committee held on Wednesday with its chairman and Baitul Mukarram National Mosque’s senior pesh imam Hafez Maulana Mizanur Rahman in the chair.
Fitra is paid to the poor before the jamaat (congregation) of Eid-ul-Fitr.
