Former Health Minister Mohammad Nasim has tested coronavirus positive on Monday (June 1).
He was admitted to Bangladesh Specialized Hospital Monday afternoon with coronavirus-like symptoms where his Covid-19 test result came positive.
Quoting physician, Nasim’s son Tanvir Shakil Joy confirmed the news to The Business Post and wished prayers from all.
Joy said, “He (Nasim) will be kept at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital for now. He will be taken to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) if his condition worsens.”
Nasim is currently receiving treatment under the supervision of Medicine Specialist Dr Mohiuddin Ahmed at Bangladesh Specialised Hospital in the capital, Joy added.
