Police arrested four youths from Narayanganj's Bandar Tuesday in a case filed over the "rape" of two teenage girls in the upazila.
One of the victims lodged the case with the police station naming five accused.
The arrestees were identified as Sifat, 18, Sakib Hossain, 24, Sifat Hossain, 21, and Md Naeem, 24. However, one of the accused, Shakil, is still on the run.
According to the case statement, the girls met Sifat and Sifat Hossain over the phone and formed a romantic attachment with them. They met with the five accused Tuesday evening and went to Sakib's house, where Sifat and Sifat Hossain raped the teenagers.
Bandar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Dipak Chandra Saha said the girls were sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for medical examination.
