The government transferred four secretaries in different ministries and divisions and an additional secretary was promoted to the rank of secretary.
The Public Administration Ministry on Tuesday issued separate gazette notifications in this regard.
Of them, Secretary of Ministry of Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Mosammat Hamida Begum has been transferred as secretary of the Rural Development & Co-operative Division, while Secretary of Rural Development & Co-operative Division Md Mashiur Rahman was made secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock.
Besides, Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Dr Nahid Rashid was transferred to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC), while Md A Hamid Zamadder, secretary of the BPSC, was made secretary of the Ministry of Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs.
The government also promoted Khalil Ahmed, director general (Additional Secretary) of the Rural Development Academy (RDA), Bogura, to the rank of secretary.
He was given the charge of secretary to the Cultural Affairs Ministry.
