France has lifted Covid-19 restrictions on Bangladesh in response to the improving global Coronavirus situation.

The decision has been in effect from March 3, the French Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

The government also decided to consider Bangladesh as a green listed country with regards to Covid-19 restrictions in France.

Bangladeshi travellers vaccinated with BioNTech-Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson are not needed a Covid test on arrival and departure from France. However, a negative RT-PCR test is necessary for unvaccinated Bangladeshi travellers.

Bangladeshi passengers travelling to France are required to provide Covid-19 vaccination proof.
