Freedom fighter passes away

Valiant Freedom Fighter and retired Upazila Ansar and VDP officer Hamidur Rahman died on Friday [2nd day of Eid-ul-Fitr] at a hospital in Dhaka.

He was 66, family sources said.

He left behind his wife, a son, and a daughter and a lot of co-fighters and hosts to mourn his death, reports BSS.

He was buried at Seota Graveyard with State honour after namaz-e-janaza at Collectorate Jame Mosjid complex.

Freedom Fighters, including former deputy commander of Manikganj District Freedom Fighters Command Council Momin Uddin Khan, and people from all walks of life took part in the Janaza.
