Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided to cut the prices of all types of gold again on Wednesday as the price of bullion gold decreased in the local bullion market.  

A notification issued in this regard, signed by Chairman of BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring Committee MA Hannan Azad, added that the price of the best quality (22 carat) gold has been reduced by Tk 1,167 to Tk 97,044 per bhori.

The new rate will be effective from Thursday. As per the new rates, the price of 21-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 1,167 to Tk 92,612 per bhori.

Besides, the price of 18-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 933 to Tk 79,432 per bhori and the price of traditional gold has been reduced by Tk 816 to Tk 66,135 per bhori.

Earlier, the prices of gold were reduced on October 1.
