A new round of political dialogue of the interim government led by Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus with the political parties begins on Saturday.

The dialogue between the council of advisers and political parties is going to commence at the State Guest House Jamuna here at 2:30 pm as the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and some major political parties will attend on the first day.

Briefing reporters at Foreign Service Academy on October 2, Chief Adviser's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said the council of advisers will again start holding dialogues with the major political parties on Saturday over the works of the six commissions, formed to reform the state apparatus and the country's law and order situation.

"The council of advisers will inform the political parties of the developments over the commissions. The advisers will also exchange views with them (political leaders) over the law and order situation and seek their suggestions," he said.

Alam said the dialogues will continue and all leading political parties will join the parley.
