The government has extended the age limit by 21 months to apply for government jobs due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notice in this regard on Thursday.
However, this extension will not be applicable for the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations.
In the notice, the ministry said that all institutions of the government that could not issue recruitment notices due to the Covid-19 pandemic, must fix the age limit of candidates as of March 25, 2020, for all recruitment calls to be published within December 31 this year.
