Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud said that the government is sincere enough about the health recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia, but BNP is doing politics over her health issue.
The information minister said this while replying to a question from journalists after inaugurating the newly launched cable car (ropeway) at Sheikh Russel Aviary Park in Rangunia on Saturday.
“Every time Khaleda Zia went to the hospital, the BNP said if Khaleda Zia had not been sent abroad, her life would have been in danger. But every time by the grace of the almighty Allah, she returned home after treatment and service of Bangladeshi doctors in the hospital,” he said.
Dr Hasan, also ruling Awami League (AL) joint general secretary, said still the government is doing everything necessary to ensure the highest level of treatment for Begum Khaleda Zia, said a press release.
