The governments of Bangladesh and Greece are looking forward to opening the Greek labor market for Bangladeshi workers. A MoU was signed between Bangladesh and Greece on safe migration and repatriation of workers from Bangladesh on Monday.
The letter was signed after a formal meeting between Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed and Minister of Migration and Asylum of Greece Notis Mitarachi in Athens, a press release said on Tuesday.
The ministers hoped that the signing of the MoU will allow the workers to reach Greece easily, safely and at a low cost to arrange their employment.
