Member of Parliament (MP) from Habiganj-3 constituency and Habiganj district unit Awami League President Advocate M Abu Zahir was shifted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) this morning as he was diagnosed coronavirus positive on Monday.
“At the instruction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the ailing lawmaker was flown to the CMH at around 10:15am by an army helicopter”, his family members told BSS.
The lawmaker was taken to the hospital under the supervision of a medical team led by Dr Major Meherun.
Advocate Abu Zahir was tested corona positive on Monday.
The cross section people, including the leaders and activists of the ruling party and its front organizations prayed for his quick recovery.
