Habiganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Kamrul Hasan has tested positive for Covid-19.
District Civil Surgeon Dr AKM Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the matter on Monday (May 4) evening.
The DC is staying in home quarantine and another test will be run on him for further confirmation, said Mostafizur.
According to the civil surgeon’s office, a total of 75 coronavirus patients have been confirmed in the district as of Monday evening.
