Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Detective Branch (DB) Additional Commissioner Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid has been removed from DB.
He was removed from DB by an order signed by DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman on Wednesday night. “It will be effective immediately,” the order said.
Harun-or-Rashid has been transferred from DB to Crime and Operation Division at DMP Headquarters.
Additional Commissioner Kha Mahid Uddin was working in DMP’s Crime and Operations Department. He has been transferred to Logistics, Finance and Procurement of DMP.
Meanwhile, DMP’s Additional Commissioner Moha Ashrafuzzaman will replace Harun in DB. He was working in Logistics, Finance and Procurement of DMP.
DMP Joint Police Commissioner (Operations) Biplob Kumar Sarkar has been transferred to DMP (Admin and Intelligence-South) as joint police commissioner.
DMP (Admin and Intelligence-South) Joint Police Commissioner Sanjit Kumar Roy has been transferred to DMP (Intelligence-North) as joint police commissioner.
DMP (Intelligence-North) Joint Police Commissioner Khondaker Nurunnabi has been transferred to DMP (Operations) as joint police commissioner.
