Former minister and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASAD) President Hasanul Haque Inu, who was arrested from the city’s Uttara area on Monday afternoon, has been brought to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Detective Branch (DB) office for further questioning.

A former information minister, Inu was one of the leaders of the 14-party alliance led by Awami League. On August 22, another important central leader of the 14-party alliance, Bangladesh Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon was also arrested.
