A Dhaka court on Wednesday received a complaint against 112 people including ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina over the death of a teenager named Ontor in Dhaka’s Jatrabari area during the anti-discrimination student movement.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shaheen Reza asked the Jatrabari Police Station to register the complaint as a case after scrutinising whether any general diary (GD) was filed earlier with the police station in this regard.

Ontor’s maternal aunt Khuku Moni filed the complaint on Wednesday with the court, reports BSS.

Other prominent accused in the case are former road transport and bridges minister and Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former law minister Anisul Huq, former inspector general of police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, former DMP commissioner Habibur Rahman, former deputy commissioner of Dhaka Anisur Rahman, former detective branch (DB) chief Harun-or-Rashid and former deputy commissioner of police Biplab Kumar Saker.

In the case statement, it was alleged that Ontor was killed in firing at the directives of the accused when he was taking part in the mass uprising in front of Jatrabari Police Station on August 5.
