The High Court has cancelled its earlier order that granted bail to seven accused who obtained bail in a murder case in Khulna as they were found to have manipulated documents and hidden information about confessional statements.
The HC bench of Justice Md Rezaul Haque and Justice Md Atoar Rahman passed the order on Sunday.
The court also ordered all the accused to surrender before the lower court and also directed the Khulna police to arrest the accused if they do not surrender.
Deputy Attorney General Saifuddin Khaled was present before the court during the hearing.
Earlier, the state filed a petition against seven accused who obtained bail from the HC in a murder case by concealing facts and manipulating documents. The murder took place at Ghohordanga village in Terokhada upazila of Khulna on August 07, 2019.
