The High Court today has rejected a writ petition that challenged the legality of the virtual court proceedings.
The bench of Justice Jahangir Hossain Selim and Justice Md Badruzzaman passed the order on Wednesday.
Deputy Attorney General Dr Md Bashir Ullah confirmed the matter to The Business Post.
Attorney General AM Amin Uddin and Deputy Attorney General Dr Md Bashir Ullah stood for the state while Advocate AKM Asiful Huda was present in favour of the petition before the court.
Earlier in October this year, A K M Asiful Huda filed a writ petition challenging the legality of the virtual court proceedings.
