The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a warning that the ongoing heatwave may persist for 72 hours starting Sunday morning.
"Due to increasing moisture incursion, the discomfort may increase," said the Met office.
This announcement follows earlier alerts issued on April 19, 22 and 25.
