Maulana Abdullah Mohammad Hasan, nayeb-e-ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam, has resigned from his post.
Abdullah, also the president of the Bangladesh Faraji Movement resigned from his post in protest of violence carriedout by fellow Hefazat men in different parts of the country recently.
He announced his resignation at a press conference at the National Press Club in the capital today.
