A Dhaka court has granted bail to Helena Jahangir, a businesswoman who was recently sacked from an Awami League subcommittee, in a case filed under the Telecommunication Act.

‎‎Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Sufian Md Noman passed the order after a hearing.

The case was filed in the capital’s Pallabi police station.
