A fire broke out at a high-rise at Banglamotor in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
No incident of casualties was reported at the moment.
“The fire erupted around 12:15pm on the fifth floor of the 10-storey building,” confirmed Rojina Akter, duty officer at the control room of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and were trying to douse the blaze, she added.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
