ICAB organises training for journalists

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) organised a training on "Finance for Non-Finance Professionals: Business Journalists" belonging to the Economic Reporters' Forum (ERF) on Saturday at CA Bhaban in Dhaka.

ICAB president Mohammed Forkan Uddin, vice president MBM Lutful Hadee, council member and former president Md Humayun Kabir, CEO Shubhashish Bose and ERF President Mohammad Refayet Ullah Mridha spoke on the occasion, while ICAB Chief Operating Officer Mahbub Ahmed Siddique and senior deputy director Momena Hossain Rupa were present on the occasion, reports BSS.

As guest Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury, former Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh also spoke on the occasion, said a press release.

Wasequl Huq Reagan, partner, Mahfel Huq & Co, Chartered Accountants conducted the training as the resource person.

ICAB organised this training to help journalists better understand business and financial matters. ICAB and ERF will collaborate to explore areas where the economy of the country would benefit more.
