A delegation of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) on Wednesday called on Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi at his office in the capital.
The delegation, led by its President Abu Bakar Siddique FCMA, updated the minister on the overall affairs of the Institute and particularly about the development issues of the CMA profession, said a press release.
The ICMAB president also sought the minister’s assistance for further development of ICMAB and the minister assured him of all-out support and assistance in this regard.
ICMAB Vice President Md Mamunur Rashid FCMA, Treasurer AKM Kamruzzaman FCMA and Executive Director Muhammad Abdullah were present during the event.
Among others, President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) and Past President of ICMAB AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA and Ministry of Commerce Additional Secretary (IIT) AHM Shafiquzzaman, were also present.
