Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal and general secretary of the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad Rana Dasgupta and his wife have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Advocate Rana Das Gupta himself confirmed the matter to the reporters Thursday.
Rana said he had been suffering from fever and sore throat for the last several days. Later, he and his wife went to Imperial Hospital and provided their samples for lab testing.
The reports came out positive on Wednesday night, said Rana Dasgupta.
They have decided to receive treatment at Chattogram Medical Centre.
