Police recovered 29 doses of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and empty boxes of 2,000 doses from a clinic in Dakshinkhan of the capital on Wednesday night.
Md Jahangir, assistant sub-inspector of Dakshinkhan police station, confirmed the matter.
He said Vijay Krishna Talukder, owner of the clinic, had been arrested and brought to the police station in this regard.
Azizul Islam, inspector (investigation) of the police station, said these vaccine doses were being sold at high prices from the clinic named Doridro Poribar Seba Sangstha (Poor Family Service Agency).
According to the police and other sources concerned, these jabs were brought here during the countrywide mass vaccination programme.
Police added that they had also found some people who were vaccinated from this clinic.
