Coca-Cola and Kewkradong Bangladesh, the country coordinator for International Coastal Cleanup partnering with Ocean Conservancy USA, have recently conducted the 12th annual International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) at St Martin's Island.

Since 2011, Coca-Cola has been supporting keeping the advocacy program running in St Martin’s Island.

For the past more than 37 years, Ocean Conservancy has inspired millions of volunteers, as well as industry players, the world over to take action by removing and recording trash during our International Coastal Cleanup.

In Bangladesh, ICC has been observed for last 16 years covering Cox's Bazar and St Martin's Island. This advocacy program contributed a lot to the local beach community and environment.

Since the involvement is ranging from the local inhabitants to visiting tourists and volunteers, this advocacy campaign sets a remarkable outcome.

This is the 12th annual cleanup at St Marin’s Island with Coca-Cola.

In the past 11 cleanups, more than 13,500 kilograms of marine debris had been picked with the help of 5,200 local and visiting volunteers.
