Gazi Mazharul Anwar, a prominent cultural figure of the country, has been given the "Guard of Honour".
His body was kept at the Central Shaheed Minar at around 11:00am on Monday.
Apart from this, various political parties including Awami League, and BNP also paid homage to the departed soul.
