India ready to support Ctg depot fire affected families: Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said his government and people of India stand ready to provide all possible support to Bangladesh government's efforts to provide relief to the affected families of BM container depot fire.

"I was deeply shocked to hear the news of the loss of so many precious lives, and the injuries sustained by so many, at the tragic fire accident at a container depot near Chattogram," Modi said in a condolence message to his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina.

He said all of India grieves with their brethren in Bangladesh at this difficult time.

Indian prime minister also offered Sheikh Hasina the most sincere condolences and sympathies of the government and the people of India, and also their prayers for the early recovery of those injured.
