Information Secretary Kamrun Nahar has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
Md Enamul Ahsan, personal secretary of Kamrun Nahar confirmed the matter to the media on Wednesday.
"Her test result for the coronavirus came out positive on Sunday," said Enamul.
Meanwhile, the information secretary's husband Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam, is still in good health, according to his private secretary Mahmud bin Qasim.
Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam's test result came negative a few days back, but he will be tested again as his wife is infected, added Qasim.
