An untoward incident took place between the army and police personnel in Jurachari upazila of Rangamati.
In this regard, a joint investigation is underway by the army and police to find out the root cause behind the incident, and identify the responsible persons, read a Inter Services Public Relations press release issued Wednesday.
At the end of the investigation, appropriate legal action will be taken against the responsible persons, the release added.
The ISPR requested everyone not to be misled by inflammatory statements and rumours, as the incident is currently under investigation.
