Jahangir Alam Sarkar, former general secretary of Cumilla North District Awami League, has won unofficially in the Cumilla-3 (Muradnagar) constituency. Under the “Eagle” symbol, Jahangir received 55,884 votes, winning by more than 15,000 votes.
His closest competitor, incumbent lawmaker Alhaj Yusuf Abdullah Harun, received 35,778 votes.
