Under the proactive leadership of JCI Barishal, a free medical camp was held in Darial, Bakerganj of Barishal recently.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response with over 3000 patients, spanning diverse age groups, including men, women, and children, receiving comprehensive medical treatment and essential medications at no cost.
Biplob Ghosh Rahul, president of JCI Barishal Foundation, presided over the event. Mehedhi Hasan, the local vice president, and Dr Abdullah Al Mamun, the local director, coordinated the medical camp.
Dr Md Abdullah Al Mamun, Dr Mahadi Hasan, Dr Rezwan Kaiser, Dr Tanjim Tarannum Dipu, and Dr Habibur Rahman provided medical treatment to the people coming for medical assistance.
The organisers expressed their commitment to continuing such impactful initiatives in the future, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to underprivileged citizens in the community.
Local public representatives, esteemed dignitaries and dedicated members of JCI Barishal were present.
This free medical camp was organised in collaboration with Popular Diagnostic Center Barishal Ltd and received generous support from prominent pharmaceutical companies within the country.
JCI Bangladesh, part of the international organization comprising active citizens aged 18-40, says that it is dedicated to working collectively to effect positive changes and make a lasting impact in their communities.
