JCI organises ‘Leaders Mentoring the Youth’

Junior Chamber International’s two-chapter event JCI Dhaka Uptown and JCI Dhaka United organised a cross chapter event titled ‘Leaders Mentoring the Youth’ at Hotel Sarina in the capital on Saturday.

Mohammed Enamur Rahman, State Minister for Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief was present on the occasion as the chief guest.

The State Minister elaborated on the initiatives taken by the government for the youth at this time.

Rezwanur Rahman and Ashikur Rahman Sunny, presidents of the two local chapters led the event.

The main purpose of the programme was to aware the youth of how the JCI works and how much the organisation is important for civil structure.

The leaders from different sectors and JCI members were present at the event. They shared their professional experience, hard work, excellence, achievement and leadership at the programme. 

Also, former leaders of JCI Bangladesh reminisced their old days during the leadership of JCI.

On behalf of tourism sector, Salehin F Nahyan, director of Hotel Star Pacific, Sylhet and Director of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) were present at the event.

From the Textile Manufacturing Industry Jubayer Mohammad Abdullah, deputy managing director of Jaber & Zubayer Fabrics Ltd and Naimul Abedin Syed, chief executive officer of Picard Bangladesh Limited were present on the occasion.

Niaz Morshed Elite, President of JCI Bangladesh said that the JCI is working relentlessly with the youth.

“We want young entrepreneurs to get all the benefits including loans in a short time on easy terms. We are making a policy for young people. Which we will present to the Ministry of Finance so that the response starts from the next budget,” he said.
