A fire broke out at a tin-roofed warehouse of jhut (unused fabric of garment factories) in the Konabari area of Gazipur on Tuesday evening.
Firefighters were alerted to the incident at 6:25pm and the first unit reached the spot at 6:45pm, according to the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
Four firefighting units were working to douse the flames, it added.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
