A fire broke out at a warehouse of jhut (scrap fabrics from garment factories) at Majukhan in Pubail of Gazipur on Sunday morning.
The fire started around 10:15am and seven firefighting units were working to douse the blaze, said Md Iqbal Hasan, senior station officer at Tongi fire service.
Pubail police station Officer-in-Charge Md Mohidul Islam said police have been sent to the spot being informed about the incident.
No casualty was reported, he added.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
