A joint operation will begin across the country Tuesday night to recover illegal firearms.
According to the Home Affairs Ministry statement, issued today, the joint operation will start across the country against illegal firearms at midnight, reports BSS.
Earlier, the interim government suspended all licenses of firearms issued by the Awami League government.
The government also asked gun owners to submit their firearms and ammunition along with the suspended licences to the relevant police stations within 3 September.
