JPC lambasts Israeli airstrike on media outlets

The Jatiya Press Club has strongly condemned the Israeli brutalities and airstrikes that destroyed a building, housing multiple media outlets that include Associated Press, Al Jazeera, in Gaza.

JPC leaders on Monday held a virtual meeting, which was chaired by its President Farida Yasmin and conducted by its General Secretary Elias Khan, condemned the offensive, according to a press release.

The attack levelled the 12-story al-Jalaa building.

JPC leaders in the virtual meeting discussed the overall situation in Palestine and expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine.

Leaders of the Jatiya Press Club also expressed their condolences over the loss of lives of Palestinians in Israeli attacks.

They urged all concerned to ensure safety and security of all Palestinians and the members of various media outlets in the conflict zone.
